Hi

I'm getting back into this wonderful hobby after over 25 years !!!!

Anyway, back then there was a quite well known Military Modeler who specialized in absolutely beautiful dioramas of WWII armor scenes. Great weathering and details.

I can't seem to remember his name but if I recall correctly, he lived in Belgium. Any help here ?? Whatever happened to him and his many dioramas ??? Does he have a website ???

Thanks.

PS.. any good books you could possibly recommend on armor modeling ??

I believe the diorama builder you remember is Francouis(sp?) Verlinden.
He is the author of several books on the subject, has a diorama accessory business, and has a fairly extensive line of figures of various scales. A qick Google will find all you need.
Cheers!

Francois Verlinden, Belgian ex-patriot now living in Missouri where he runs one of the first and perhaps the largest companies manufacturing diorama accessories, publications, figures, upgrades and full kits. If you have not heard of Verlinden Productions you really have been out of it for a while.
