Hey Everyone,
Here is the latest pdate on my dio, I will let the pictures do the talking. The main points are
- Figures need some tidying up done and in one case actually starting! lo
-The roof is made out of cut straws glued together.
- The cart is made out of an old Aircraft wheel and craft sticks. Let m know what you think of this itsmy first attempt at scratching on this sort of level.
Feel free to ask any questions

Hi Andy,
The figures have come out nicely mate! Are they tomatoes or apples in the crate, either way this adds extra detail to the scene.
I like the wood effect you have achieved on the barn doors, and the scrtachbuilt barrow looks splendid!
Hope to see this one finished soon mate!
Cheers,Shay

A nice piece of work.

i like the figures - I take them to be Airfix? - and the roof looks good too. The accesories are also well done - the tomatoes breaks the scene with their color, a good touch. You might remove the exess paint on the barrow.

Good work all over

Looks good Andrew. I like the Airfix Multipose figures. They're still some of the most versatile figures out there.

Andy,
This is coming out super. Your building look almost identical to the reference pictures that were on your other thread. The figures are very good. I can't wait to see it's completion.

Its looking awesome so far. I do like your cart also, it looks like it was homemade from rough planks instead of being crafted and paid for. I think it adds just that little something. I also like your layout. Keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks for all the comments guys.
Shay, the effect is kinda aciddental, I used a little to much glue on the hinges and the paint wouldn't stick to it so I sanded the glue off and these was the result, I liked it so I left it. Not sure if the are tomatos or apples was leaning towards tomatos.

Simon, Yes the figures are Airfix, excellent kits, I will defintly be getting more. I will be tidying the barrow up before putting any paint on it.

Pat, They are versatile in both the actual kit construction themselves and all the diferent subjects you can do with them.

EagleSmack, I too am pleased with the buildings, to be honest they weren't as hard as I thought they would be.

Kevin, That was the look I was going for with the barrow (it dosen't matter that I am a clumsy scratchbuilder lol) I felt I neded something to "block" the alley way. I looked strange with nothing there.

Looks nice mate! My only criticism is the eyes need toning down. They look a bit demented. I always mix some flesh and white so they don't look too crazy. I know its a bayonet charge and they're off on one one but I think that would work better. Also be nice to have a dead Jerry in the road to fill that space as they run past him. However it looks b***dy good mate!
