I use Model Master paints. Enamal. The problem is that many flat colors dry gloss. I have had it happen with black and gunmetal. It happens with both airbrush and brush. I stur the paint till I think my hand will fall off. I warm it (under running water). I try paint from different stores. Is it just me?
Is there a better brand for a flat finish?
Help me before I gloss again.

It's not just model master paints, I've had it happen with other brands. The only solution I have is to use matt varnish. I have a jar of humbrol Matt Cote and one coat of that gives me a nice matt finish to any paints I've used. Another alternative is to mix in some Flat base w
ih the paint but finding the right amount to mix can be tricky as too much can give a "chalky"appearance.
