Here's a few pics of my newly started build of a Challenger I from Revell.

Basic painting is done and now it's in the middle of the weathering process.

Also included are some pics of my finished M1A2 Abrams.

Hope you like them.

Best regards

Sven-Åke

Sven,

That's your typical work, which is very good! Amazing for 1/72d scale!

Thank You Very Much Gaetano!!!

I think that the best comments I can get is when people say that
my builds looks like 1/35 scale.

I'm really happy that you like them, thank you!!!

Thank You Ian!!!

I try to keep the weathering down to a minimum and not overdo it and
It feels like I've found a good weathering balance at least on these two.

Glad you like them!

The close up photos of the detail of the M1A1 are amazing for 1/72 scale. They'd be very convincing in 1/35 but are truly detailed to the max for 1/72.

Thanks Kent!!!

By being able to photograph the models I do it actually helps because
when I get the pictures up on the screen in a large size I can see the
mistakes easier and correct them. It's otherwise hard in this scale with
the naked eye.

Glad you like them!

Thanks Peter!

I tried to make a few different shades so the vehicles would
be more alive and give the impression of being used in
different conditions, rain, dust and rain again and so on...

I'm really glad you like them!!!

Thanks!

Nice! What kind of paint are you using for the Abrams chips?

Hi Sven-Åke!

Amazing paint-job as always! Great weathering!

Amazing how good a "one-colour" vehicle can look after weathering!

Great,
Steen

Thanks Steen!!!

Nice to hear that you like them!

You're right about the fact that a one colored vehicle can become
quite boring sometimes unless you spice it up a bit with different
shades of the base color and adding some scratches and wear.

Best regards
