Hi
Sorry I am sure this has been asked before but can the Tamiya upgraded AAV7 be used in an OIF dio. If not what is the least I have to do to make it so. I have seen ones in OIF with the model tacks and exhaust and some without EAAK. So is it possible, I know it is not the norm but is it possible.
Thank
Ryally

Hi Paul
According to David E. Harper's Vehicles of the USMC " as many as 35 % of the AAV7s used in OIF were of this early (non RAM/RS) type". At least in the first stages of OIF I may add. I've got only a few OIF pics showing them without EAAK (4 pics out of 600...) ....So you can go this way, but at least you'll have to add the EAAK mounting lugs to the hull.
