Hi Guys,

Some tankers I'm working on. AVRE is only for focus.

The first 2 pics are of the new Jakrei figures and the older Verlinden one, who's about 7 foot tall lol, lol Thought I would have one chap pulling on a tow rope and the othe with some sort of bundle. The 3rd fellow in conversation with the map out.

There is nice detail on the Verlinden figure but he's very big lol, lol.





The second 2 pics are of Resicast and Wolf figures. The 3 guys in shirt sleeve order I'll probably use in an Italy setting and the other two in NWE.





Not the worlds best figure painter but I'm reasonable happy with the work so far.

Hi Alan,

Not bad. I like your colour selection - it's pretty spot on from what I've seen of tankers oversuits and BD.

I think you really just need to work on your highlights and shadows, they're a tad too subtle.... then again it might just be the photos or my monitor

Anyway, great work mate.

Thanks for the feedback. My figures are getting a bit better, more practice required though lol, lol.

Re the dio, nothing much done this last week other than a battery for the radio. I did get a big load of styrene 1"sheet free from the DIY shop next door though, should be more than enough to make the base from.

Need to souce some materials for the alternative windows, but I don't have a LHS near by, but will get stuff organised over the next few weeks.
