Anyone know what's happened to the On The Way website? Seems it wasn't renewed. Is the owner giving it up?

There's lesson here really. I thought the site was SO clear and expert that I started asking round my work colleagues about ways to save pages from the web you find especially useful- in case that site went down. I got a few suggestions (apparently Firefox have a useful app for this) but through a mixture of laziness, complacency and forgetfulness I never got round to it.
So that showed me!!!

Glad to hear it's due to come back again though.

From my understanding, Simon is working on the password issues and the fact that the site is/was registered in his other half''s name and is working on getting it transfered to his name. Simon states that the site should be up and running shortly.

Just a quick update to let you all know what is going on.

As most will now there have been a few problems,to let you all know OTW will be back but I have to get the ownership transferred, this all has to be done in writing to the host, and with the Postal stikes here in the UK it is taking longer than I originally anticipated, Once ownership has been transferred OTW will be back up and running at the same address.

Here's another update from Simon regarding OTW

due to the extortionate price of swapping a domain name between ownwers around £95 just for the name + what hosting costs, OTW will be changing its' domain name to

www.onthewayuk.com

it is not up yet but will be as soon as I get the info to upload from the server

Thanks for the info concerning the "Ontheway" website. Sure is good to hear that the site will be back online soon. Excellent source of information for the small scale modeler. I usually go there to review things before going out to make a purchase and to check out all of the reviews, galleries, links, ect.

Looking forward to seeing the site back online again.

hello, i have been to the on the way site from time to time to check out braille kit reviews and such. i noticed that it hasn't been updated for some time. may i ask is this a dead site already? hope its not
