Hi Jim,
Unfortunately you miss the Cambridge branch MAFVA meeting at Duxford by four days!
I will be away on holiday for two weeks so will not be around to "help".
Cambridge Branch Rep. Steve Schwab does work there occasionally as a volunteer, try to catch him on Steve Schwab

[email protected]The other option is to ask Simon Beckwith if he will be around. Simon runs his own Model Emporium down the road at Barton, almost opposite the rifle range just outside Cambridge. He is also a volunteer at Duxford and a font of information on various AFV's having crewed Artillery types.

[email protected]I work on the basis that if you don't ask you don't get. The worst they can say is NO!
One other point, if it is quiet (ie no screaming kids about)and you ask the duty person (they wear red pullovers, used to be called warders, now its a bit more PC), quite often they are happy to let you skip the ropes for "That photo". Most of the blokes who work there appreciate being consulted, and are usually bored rigid.
