Is anyone planning on doing that pink Iraqi pickup with the gun in the back and NYPD sticker on the windshield? :-) Just curious, but what is the exact shade of pink on that, and will Tamiya start carrying it with their other military colors? That would be a hoot!

Yeah, saw that last night. I didn't see the sticker, but was it a Chevy?
I guess bright pink is a good desert camo color?

I think it was a Nissan. I actually think their strategy was to make the enemy laugh so hard they couldn't aim to fire at them

I saw that too. They said it was Japanese so Nissan sounds right since it didn't look like a Toyota. Did it look like they had sprayed green stripes down part of it to you? Remember, if you plan on having figures with it, the Iraqis captured were in black uniform

Pink Nissan with a NYPD sticker on the windshield. Which side was the steering wheel on? What kind of machine gun did it have?

Here's the story and the only known picture of it...

I wish they could take some better pictures of the this truck #:-) Maybe they wanted to do that "Code Pink 4 Peace" thing It was a Japanese made truck, but I'm still not quite sure what company makes it. It's a relatively new truck though. It does seem to have green stripes going down the side. It somehow reminds me of one of those vehicles in Jurassic Park. It also has a big, tan, square thing on the rear passenger door on the left side, but I can't make out what it is. It might be some kind of unit marking. Just pray we don't come across any pink tanks. Pray even harder our own guys don't pick up on the tactical advantages of a pink vehicle and decide to start painting our own stuff in a "pansy pink" camo pattern in the future.
