What paint color do you go thru the most? As a luftwaffe plane builder, I seem to be buying bottle of MM Acryl RLM76 Light blue alost every 2 weeks.. Also use alot of green zinc chromate on my us planes.... How many total bottles do you have?, I estimate at least 125 bottles

As modern armour maniac, I have big stock of Tamiya NATO Green (6 bottles) and Model Master FS34087 (5 bottles).
Because of problems with purchasing Gunze paints- I have 2-3 bottles of all necessary colour.
BTW: what is your favourite brand of paints? For me Gunze and Tamiya.

Hello all
I've been building for 1 year 3 months now and the colors I most use are.. Model Master Flat black ( use some on every model so far) and model Master Olive Drab ANA 613 and Dunklegelb ( WWII armor seems to be my bag)
I go to the model store each week and buy at least 1 or two bottles of paint. This is a good system that will build you up a large supply in about a year.
I have about 125 bottles of Model Master Enamel (my fav)
about 4 bottles of Model Master Acryy (accidental)
70 bottles of Testors in basic colors and metalics. (got from a going out of business sale @ .10 each
3 bottles of Polly S (for testing)
and 4 bottles of Tamiya paints I recently purchased because I want to try them out.
also have 67 cans of Model Master Spray that I got from the going out of business sale that I will prob never use since I have learned to use my airbrush and it is so much better.
Below is a pic of where I keep my working bottles of Model Master paint.. there is a system. I put self sticking labels with the color on the tops.. the open bottles are to the right with the ones I am using at the moment to the right and towards the front. The left side is mostly colors I havn't used yet. with all duplicate bottles kept in the closet.
:-)

For me it would probably have to be Tamiya Dark Green what with painting Soviet era Armor and WWII German cammo with it..
But Gunship grey is running a close second these days building several F-15's at once.

For my US armor it's got to be MM Olive Drab. I also just finished a 1/48 B17F and that sucker used up a whole bottle of the stuff. I seriously thinking of investing in Testors, I'll have to look up their stock symbol.

Like a lot of others it has to be olive drab, in my case Tamiya xf62 followed by khaki drab Tamiya xf51.

Since more or less one year I´m building armor kits, but previously I´ve only built airplanes kits, mostly Luftwaffe WW2 planes.
The colours that I use most are RLM 02-71-74-75-76-81-82-83, of these ones the RLM 76.
My favorite brand is Model Master (Enamels).
I have in my paint stock 130 MM enamel bottles, 30 Humbrol enamels pots & 12 Tamiya acrylic. I have all the colours used for Luftwaffe, more or less 3-4 of each colour., USA WW2 planes and German, Soviet and USA WW2 armor, plus the ones you use for weathering and ground painting.

What ever I build there seams to be one colour that always pops up and that is flat black, not a nice colour, but you can't live without it.

I use it quite a bit for touching up where either the rattle can ran out or my handling wore paint off the sharp edges, and for the little thingies here and there that go on afterwards

When I did armor, it was mostly Tamiya's Olive Drab and German Grey for tanks and Tamiya Field Grey (for figures and for highlighting both of the grey colors).
Since I switched to using oil paint for my figures, there are only 2 colors that I've needed to buy more than once. Titanium White, used to lighten almost all colors so I bought the 400ml tube. And Burnt Sienna, used mostly for fleshtones. Since I waste a lot of this trying to get a fleshtone that looks human, I also found a large tube of it. Otherwise, the oils last forever and a day.
