I know that there have been a few sidenotes about this subject on some other forums but I thought I would come out & ask directly. Has anyone found a site that offers Trumpeters PE for their Stryker? I ordered Real Models wheels and tires, I hope they will fit Trumpeters kit. They didnt seem to be for any specific manufacturers kit. I will also order Real Models stowage set, it looks in pictures to be very nice. Also AFV Clubs M1128 Stryker MGS, other than Mich Toy Soldier, is there anyone else who you can preorder through? Lastly "Thank You" to all of you (White 4) who have in your Build Blogs given tips on "How To" the little details.

I have not been able to get the Trumpeter set either. My LHS is supposed to be tracking one down for me, but nothing...
You will like the RM stowage set. I have one that I will be reviewing. Note there are a couple of items, like an AT-4, that are in the kit but not shown in the photos. Most importantly, two tow bars! This is great since most platoons carry at least two full ones, and some platoons have all four vehicles carry a half one each.
I do not have the RM wheel set, but I understand it comes with a spare too, which is great since many vehicles are seen with a spare on the roof, just behind the driver.
And you will be able to get jerrycans with the red decals seen on the rear of the Stryker.
Fact, baby. Fact.

Thanks guys. The Tiger werks wheels look great also. I wasnt able to find the MGS on the Great Models website as a preorder though. Is it that Trumpeter is incorporating the PE set now with their Stryker? I have the smaller PE fret that came with the kit I ordered but its seems strange that they were the first to release the Stryker but are taking so long to release the aftermarket PE that they themselves produced. The towbars, now thats a bonus.

There is also supposed to be a set from Blast:
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/blast/bl35114-15k.html although I didn't see it on their site yet.
Don't think Trumpeter will be putting their update set in with the kits, why would they when they can make extra $$ selling it seperately?
Myth= Slat armour accessory set

It appears that on Perth Military Modelling they review the Stryker PE set from Trumpeter, and they list a wholesaler, but when you go to his site, you cannot purchase. So there arent any online hobby stores that have ordered from this wholesaler? And are trying to sell this PE set? Whats up?

They are on the Blast site. I ordered them there. Initial impression is that they look good. They appear to be designed for the AFV kit, and will require some creative trimming if placed on the Trumpeter kit.

Mr Burik,
I better get a cut on that "myth." Where are today's pics of your NTC Stryker ??? I need my fix.
EDIT: I guess I should have looked at your Stryker post before I began typing...

It appears that both "Stanbridges" & "Avenue" hobby stores in Australia carry the Trumpeter Stryker PE upgrade set. The problem is "Avenue" is out of stock, & "Stanbridges" might not ship out of country. On their website they say they can arrange for international shipment but when you fill in your info the country drop down box only shows Australia. I did not feel it financially wise to make the phonecall that they said is the best method of contacting them. E-mails they said they get to when they are not busy. Both sites can be accessed on Perth Military Modelling. I just might have to wait his one out.

That might be the best option if you can wait. I need to get mine since I'd like to have this for a show that is fast approaching. If I screw this up so bad the kit part will have to do. However, with Gary's help I am trying a work-around. If it works I will post the details. Should know by Saturday.
