The text to the left of the picture are just instructions on how to apply decals. So if anyone else is trying to translate this, you can skip it. I am woking on the text below the picture now.

The text below the picture says "Instructions on Painting" so I don't think the unit information is on that part of the instruction sheet.

Gary, thanks for your effort. Basically there is all the information on the 4 pages instruction sheet. I just need to know if the unit information is given besides the paint instruction...

Decal #3 might be a clue. It looks like it could be a unit emblem.

I can easily have the unit translated, as I have some Russian collegues. However, I do not see any descriptions of the markings. There must be some on another place in the instructions?

Negative Sarge,
there's all in the 4 pages sheet. The rest of it is the construction steps.
Thanks for your cooperation

There is no information onthe markings page to identify what unit the vehicle is supposed to belong to. It would be better to look for information on the internet for russian units with the particular crests on the decal sheet. I know that sounds goofy...they provided the markings, why not the unit ID, but that is the way things are.

I cannot ID the unit at this point, but my guess is Interior Ministry...

There are some Russian shoulder patches at Russian Patches . Maybe one will match whatever is on decal #3?

It's Interior Ministry.

Gary had it right there. The BTR belongs to Interior Ministry's motor rifles regiment. Zvezda gave MC in red circle which is quite rare for these units most of the BTRs I saw had orange BB in red circle.

thanks once again guys.
The link is great!
this is a close look at the decal

cross reference with the patches insignia on that link (and with other google search i just did) i cant find any match of the unit, even if i search under Interior Ministry or MVD... the only close match i could find (based on the Cobra simbol) is this one 998-th StaroKonstantinovsky Aviation Regiment. 'Courage and Determination'.

anyway, i guess that MC means something with foreign peacekeeping mission.
BTW, George Zvevda supplied the MC decal with blue and white color. I like the pic your shown. Red and orange look stunning!
