Hi at all,
iīm still working on my Vietnam Figures and in this great Osprey/Elite book "Vietnam ANZACs" are fantastic colour plates. There are some special forces guys in great poses and equipment. Fantastic inspiration and exactly what i want to do. I love this book. On one photo there is a soldier which have an interesting grenade pouch harness configuration. In the Text above stands only "40mm grenade pouch harness configuration". It hangs around his neck and at the end it must be connectet to the web gear. It has on every site four rows of grenade pouches like the standard 40mm grenade bandoleer. I haventīt seen it before. Looks very Interesting.
I could need some Photos about it to do sculb it on the figure. So every help will be welcome.
greetings
Stefan

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking for, but I know it was worn in Vietnam...

Ooops, sorry. This happens when I don't read the question carefully. I also think I have that book somewhere in my e-book folder so I might be able to help you out when I get home from work.
Cheers,
Mario.

I know that exact item. It says in in the book it just slid on over the suspenders of the 1956 gear and around the neck. I have a few additional pics of that vest (not the clearest, but at least one is in color) that I can send you.....email me at [email protected]. I'm slowly becoming interested/obsessed with SASR in Vietnam, too. Cool weapons, uniforms, gear, etc.
