Hi Guys And Gals,
Finally got round to treating myself to the German Faun Tank Transporter and was wondering if anyone out there has had any problems building this kit ?.If you have can you reply so i can be aware of them before i start, coz this kit is a lot of money to screw up with stupid mistakes. After all,as the motto of the observer corps went,FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED.

I have allmost finished this kit with a Big Ed PE set and it goes together without any major problems. Only problem is the loading ramps on the trailer. They are not correct. The pulleys on the loading ramp are casted on the wrong side. Easy to fix when you know about it. I suggest you check your references against the kit to see what I mean.

I've seen an out of the box buld of this kit and it sure looks good. The guy said it was a nice build. Remember, this is a modern vehicle, so no Tigers or Panthers on it. When I was an active duty officer in Germany, we used these to transport our tanks across Germany. So you could put M60a!'s as well as Leopards on them

Hi
I do not recall any specific problems. However, you may wish to replace the kits supplied string "hydraulic lines" with wire/sprue etc.
Nice imposing kit ! I parked hmm what four SCIMITAR/SCOPRPION on mine ! hahah
