Getting there... The RWS is really nice. I added a few of my own stuff to the .50 cal. I still have to work with more MILES stuff on that too.

Most of the MILES is done, except I am procrastinating on the kill light top panel. Once I have that I can wire that up to the rest of the stuff.

Looking good Bob. The stowage add an interesting touch to it. Will this Stryker be painted green?

Totally agree it’s looking great. One question, the vent on top, is it a vent for the troop compartment and could that be covered.

Erik,

All Strykers are green, so this one will be too. I am looking forward to the painting and weathering phase. Lots to bring out with some shadowing and highlighting, and the sand getting into crevices will contrast nicely with the green.

Joe, good question. They are not supposed to cover it. Don't know if they really cover it on occasion though.

Bob,
Nice gear. I am assuming that there will be some additional bagas haging from the side racks as well as more water cans and blue oil containers in the side racks... Get that CVKI light done, quit your procrastinating. Great effort in replicating one of the 3/2 trucks. Cna't wait to see it in person.

Yep. If I can figure out the oil jugs too. Certainly kit on the side. Tonight I took the night off, but still managed to go in and put some strips of tape on the hull sides - I think used for railroad transport info.

Brent: were have you been? Good to hear from you.

Your Stryker looks great. The miles belts are very nice. Could you post a closer picture of your 50 cal? Keep up the great work.

Yes, as soon as I finish it. I still have to add a bit more MILES stuff to it.

This is what I have so far for the .50 cal MILES set-up. Shipping tape added too, to the hull sides. Anybody have ideas in how I should be wiring this?

I confirmed through two different sources the roof vent sucked (get it?), so many crews had no issue with covering it on occasion or even a lot.

Kill light done and RWS done, except I have to wait to wire up the .50 cal until after it is installed.

Right now I am working on the strut guard and adding Warlock.

Bob,

Looks great! What did you use for the anti-slip coating?

Cast-A-Coat. I like it since it is very controllable and does not require any masking. Gino's Rustoleum technique is very good too, but for this project I felt there would be much too much masking.

Now I feel ready to paint - almost. I want to try my hand at making a modern US litter and hanging it off the side with some pickets.

This is Eduard's new Trumpeter strut guard added to my AFV Club kit. Fits real nice.

Litter and stacked pickets. I will see what I can do to thin the legs of the litter.
