Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has seen this kit !?
Dragon Model #9010 (Imperial Models) (as written on the box) M4A3 Sherman 76w HVSS

1) Is there something inaccurate for that ?
Please say something good, cos it's already been bought
2) If u already have done it the TRACKS !? Are they one piece vinyl or one by one ?

Thanx from now

Good late war Sherman with individual track links, original HVSS style and not the type found on Korean War variants.

The Dragon armor kits are very well done. This one is a good representation of a M4A3 76W HVSS. I also have it in my stock waiting to be build. The tracks are link by link and are the correct type for the tank and type of suspension. Very nice kit.

I will....Cas..i will do it..
since it's so beautiful and nobody complains..sure i will.

And it's weird to see that nobody complains of it..or finds something inaccurate

As our grannies say: "If u're satisfied with your model..that's it"

Well, I think the early release of the kit has the mantlet with the .30 cal port and sight port at the wrong positions.

I have the WW2 version (there were two released, one is #9010, I think), and it is a sweet looking kit.

cheers

Beware these DML HVSS kits...they are a pain. I've built the M4A3 and the M50. The indy-link tracks are a nuisance, IMO, and the HVSS units themselves are quite annoying. The One-hull-fits-all engineering used by Dragon makes these units rather fragile, especially the hull/suspension mounting points. The bogies don't like to stay in alignment wiht each other, and they also don't have enough structural attachment to hold the tank up well--they sag while the glue cures if weight is placed on them, even just the bare hull. These kits can be built; but it isn't as easy as a VVSS version. Can't comment on Academy's HVSS, as I haven't built my M51 yet.
