Hello all
I thought I'd post these photos of a diorama I did a few months ago. I call it 'David and Goliath'. It's the first diorama where I decided to spend some money and put in some effort. I'm planning on a KV-2 next; stay tuned

Congrats. Very dramatic. I like the wounded soldiers and the effect of the blood is very realistic.

I love the effects you did with the puddle of water and the charred wood. And the weathering of the tank is outstanding - it looks like the thing should feel like forty pounds of steel if you picked it up.
Excellent technique, detail and drama.

"Red Handed" That was the first thing that popped out of my mind. Great work overall. The tank fits well into the scene. I don't even think that AT gun would penetrate that armor even at that close distance If I'm not mistaken, those Russian figs are from Tamiya's Russian infantry set right? Did you replace the heads or anything?
If you can, try to remove that date imprint on your photos. It ruins the picture, especially that B&W shot of yours.

That's really good. I love the shape of the base, sort of unique. A+ work.

Thanks all for the comments. Much appreciated
The Russians are Tamiya Army Assualt Troops, used OOB. If possible, I try to keep costs down - easier said than done.
I'll take off the dates next time. I took these photos when I first used the camera and didn't think about it.
Cheers all

The low angle shot of the KV in the second group of photos is truly amazing. I especially like how some of the mud looks wetter and darker than other areas on the tank. Rarely done. And this is done really well. Makes me wanna go do some Russian armour.

Incredible painting on both the KV and the charred wood. You have a lot to teach the rest of us.
This is a really minor point, but both the Soviet and german troops are wearing uniforms adopted in 1942-43. Hope that was your intention.

Love the action scene Brett. The figure painting and weathering on the tank are excellent. Love the crater and especially the tank captain coming up through the hatch. Lots of fine details, make this a fine dio!
