Hi all

I'm looking for some information as to the general layout of the inside of either a M113 or M577 Ambulance / Medivac. pictures would be an advantage. I have tried to Google but with no luck.

The interior is basically the same as an M113 APC. The only difference is that the TC seat/stand is sometimes removed. For the stretchers, there are poles that attach to the roof and sponsons, and a set of chains in the middle. Both have adjustable hooks that the stretchers hang from. The M113 carries 4 stretchers while the M577 carries 6 stretchers. Blankets and medic gear are carried inside and on the top of the ambulance as well.

Here is a model I did of an M113A3 Ambulance. I used the stretchers, medic boxes, and decals from the Academy M977 HMMWV Ambulance kit, and combat lifesaver bag from Dragon's Modern US Army Special Forces set..

The M577 interior is the same as the M113 set-up. The chains and rods are just longer to reach the ceiling and has hooks for 3 stretchers on each side. Externally, there are no modifications either.
