Hi All,
I have finally got my A into G and got this thing pretty much done, All the re is left to do is some small paint touch ups and helmet straps but about from that its finished.
Small re cap, The figures are a mix of Airfix 1/32 8th army and British Infantry kits and the buildings are scratchbuilt.
I hope you like it! Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Andrew
I've been watching this one come together, and I got to say it came out even better than I expected it to.. I really like the look of the ditch. This was a aspect of the dio that I was not real sure how it would look when it was done. Water, like fire is something that can be real hard to look right in a dio. The stuff inside the barn, works well as a way to add some color to the overall dio as well as some added detail. well done.
I do have two comments but even they might be the angle of the picture. First the angle of fire by the prone figure. I would pull the Bren just a touch or two to the right. As it is he appears to be fireing into the barn door. Now if his assignment is to cover that doorway, then thats my mistake.
Second, and this one may really be just the picture.the second running fig. I believe he's carrying a tommy gun, I can't tell from the pic if its a Tommy or a Sten. either way. His skin tone looks a little yellow. Now maybe he's not the bravest in the unit and got a little sick before the charge. He would not be the first man to lose his lunch before a fight.
Thats all I got, and they were really minor things. This piece came out very well you can be very proud.
Congrats
Harry

Thank you Jafo
Harry, Thank you for following my build, The Bren Gunner is in an akward pose, the gun isn't straight out in front but n a slight angle. I wanted to give him some cover so where he is now is the best he can be due to his feet and elbows getting in the way lol But I will have a bit of a fiddle around to see if something can be sorted.
You are correct about the tommy gunner his skin is a little yellowish. Whatever skin i tried on this guy I just couldn't get it right, so I will be redoing his arms and face when I have some spare time.
Once again thank you for your excellent comments.

Great diorama. It looks very good with a well laid out scene. Not too empty, not too crowded.
Good job on the house and the tiles....
Thanks for sharing

Some outstanding work you show here. And a nice action packed scene. Great job on the building... very nicely done... I also like the gate like thing on the right of the building. gives a nice extra dimension to your dio which you managed to occupy with some really nice items.
Great Job

An excellent dio, congrats!
love the buildings and groundwork and its a great use of the two airfix sets.
Also have to add that those tomatoes look good enough to eat!
