It's been a long while since I posted anything due to life throwing me for a few loops that either kept me away from the web, my workbench, or both, but now things have settled and hopefully I can get back in the groove around here.
To signal my return, here are a few photos of my most recent diorama. I completed this for a hobby show in Port Townsend last month in which it took 3rd place in figure dioramas. It's a depiction of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment's assault crossing of the Waal River during Operation Market Garden.
If you like these photos, there are more in my gallery. Any and all comments and questions are, of course, welcome. Thanks for looking in.

Pretty cool. Nice action packed dio. I've always been fascinated by this battle, and I think you've captured the look pretty well.
At a quick glance though, one thing that jumps out at me is the color of the US uniforms. The 504th was the only US para Regiment in NW Europe that still used the 1942 jumpsuit at that time....all others had switched over to the greener 1943 uniform. So these guys should be wearing that more khaki tannish uniform rather than the greener one (despite what's shown in "A Bridge Too Far").
The scene itself looks really well done though.
