Beautiful work Sven-Ake, you even made the moulded on tools look good.

Cheers

Your models never cease to impress me. You should consider getting an article about your finishing method published. It isn't everyday that 1/72 AFVs look this good.

Thanks Henk!

To be honest I really dislike moulded on tools because they are often
very 2 dimensional and hard to paint. I was actually thinking about cutting
them off and replacing them but I gave it a try to paint them anyway...

Glad you like it

Thank You John

It's quite big for being 1/72 scale but it's still very small in detail.

Thanks Ralph!!!

I've been thinking about that for a long time but I always forget it when I
start a new project. I guess I need to make a big note and hang it on my
workbench so I won't forget it next time.

Thanks for your comments

Best regards

I'll echo everybody else's comments. Excellent, stunning work!!

And I agree about an article explaining your methods. And I also know where to publish it at...

Fantastic job, as usual! As much as I enjoy the build overall, the scattered debris in the the bed around the figure is a fantastic touch.

Thanks Jesper!!!

The fun thing about modelling is that you never fully master it.
It's an ongoing learning process that never ends and just when
you think you know it all, some new technique comes along and
must be tested and you're back on square one again... But that
is what I like about this hobby, the constant learning

I'm glad you like it or shoud I say "jeg er meget glad at du ka li den"

Thanks Matt !!!

Glad you like it and also glad that you are pushing me towards
maybe finally sitting down and taking those photos and writing
that text about the techniques I use... I have to check my stash
for a couple of interesting models that can be used for this...

Thanks Frank!!!

I just felt that the crew weren't equipped with brooms so they could
clean their vehicle and when driving through bushes and things, some
leaves and other things might come off onto the cargo bed.

The debris is from my local pizza place where they always give
you a small bag of spices on the side. I just grind them down a
bit to fit the scale and put alittle glue here and there and sprinkles
the spices over the vehicle and shake it about a little and then the
spices get stuck in the places where I put the glue. A wash of
Raw Umber and black on top of it all and it looks quite realistic.

Thanks for your comments

Thanks Giacomo!

I've used the kit wheels but I know that Calibre 72 and others produce
what they called "correct wheels" for it but I never got around to buying
any of them.
