Good day to all
I thought I would share with you all progress on my OIF LAV-25 (MC) Piranha. I used Tamiya NATO Brown, NATO Black, and Model Master Medium Green for the color scheme. For the Stowage it’s a combination of PLUS Model, Tamiya, and Legend Products. Also I used Eduards PE and Accurate Armour Wheels. I still have to paint the stowage strips, ruck sack covers, some more stowage to add, and dry brushing along with some pastel to add. Let me know what you all think.

Looks pretty good to me. Only thing I will mention is the spear tyre. The rope you have used to attach it seems way out of scale to me. And I'm not sure if that mount is the best way to carry a spare tyre through the desert. But I have been wrong before...

Thanks for the feedback. I got the ideal from a Fine Scale Modeler Magazine that did an article on LAV that was scratch built at 1/16 scale back in 2004. I might take it off and just add some more stowage

Looks pretty good. A little too much rust for my taste, but not too bad. The M249 SAW is not really accurate for the TC gun up top though. It should be an M240G (L7A2, or FN MAG). Also, I can't tell if you added it, but the barrel of another M240C (coax mount) should be sticking out of the slot to the right of the main gun on the mantlet as well. I agree on the rope for the tire too, way too big.

Good job, just tweak a few details and it will be great.

Looks good. That is the second OIF AFV I have seen with a case of Mt. Dew in its stowage rack.

Thanks for sharing!

Looks great! I like it much better now when you removed the spare tyre.

Ya, I have to agree that it looks alot better without the spare tire hanging out there like a sore thumb. All-in-all a very nice build.
