Perhaps the Trumpeter kit won't be as good as the AFV Club one, but this one looks very good!

First off, welcome to Armorama. We are glad to have you on board and already sharing your projects with us.
As for your model, did you add anything or is it straight out of the box? Your weathering job is fantastic. What is your technique? Keep up the good work and we hope to see future builds from you.

That looks great, how did you get the subtle variations of the base coat? It looks sunfaded in some spots, is that all dry brushing?

Thanks for sharing your build with us. I like the nice dusty look. It gives me inspiration to finish mine. I have it all done but I just can't put the RWS on it. To bad for such a nice kit Trumpy did such a poor job on it. I am waiting to get the AFV Club RWS kit to put on mine.
Thanks again

Thanks for the welcome and comments guys. The kit was built oob,the stowage was from tamiya modern equipment set.As for the weathering,i first drybrush using tamiya color "buff".After that, i used tamiya weathering set "light sand".I'm quite new to armor modelling, this kit was purchased without me knowing that afv kit was much better kit.Hope to learn more from you guys here.

Good looing Stryker. I really like the paint job and the weathering. You should add antennas to the antenna bases.

Nice paint job. Next time you might want to consider thinning the wheel rings and jerrycan racks. Nice looking kit for the Trumpeter. I'd like to see your skills used on a nicer kit like the AFV Club kit.
The straps that hold the rear jerrycans actually tie up on the roof, but the Trumpeter kit does not hint at that. You'd have to check out photos to see that there are footman loops up on the roof where the straps loop around.
