SU series in combat

Looking at working on a couple of old Tamiya SU-85 and SU-122. Doe sany one now of a good book showing these in combat. I have a few pics here and there but not many. Were many of these every used in combat? I was hoping maybe some eastern european compnay has released a book on these.

Try the Concord book on the T34 series Not a lot of photos of the SU series However,it still is a great book

The Russian "Frontline Illustration" series has a book on Soviet self-propelled guns in combat - it covers the SU-76, -85, -100, -122, -152 and the heavies - ISU-122 and ISU-152 - plus some early experimental or low-production SPs such as the 76.2mm howitzer on the T-26 chassis. Terrific book if that's what you're into.
Yes, all these vehicles were definitely heavily used.
Archer has a nice sheet of dry transfer markings for SU-76 and SU-85.

This publisher often translates the above mentioned russian publication into polish/english (see T-70 & SU-76). They sell online!

I also have a number of the Militaria publications. Very nice books in general although I have never read the SU book. I can recommend them.
