Thanks all.
The kit is a Tamiya and the figures are Dragon (German Infantry). Paints are Model Master Enamels and the Mate Cote is from Humbrol.
The vehicle is supposed to be from the 18th Panzer Division - Panzer Brigade 18 (Rusia 1943). The camouflage scheme is Dark Grey and overspray of Dunkelgelb. This scheme was used in some vehicles in this period but was not the most common.

Very well done. The light sets up the mood very nicely. Can you share some construction details with us? It'll help us a lot, especially for beginners like me.

Very well done, CSCH. You really did a great job painting. PzIII's are my favorite AFV, and you have really done this one justice. Nice.

Very nice work. My first impression was a DAK scene, and the lighting made me think sandstorm, what with current events and all. After reading the other comments and looking more closely at the photos, I stand by my initial appraisal... a very well-done work

Scoccia:
The kit was finished with a mate cote of Humbrol and it really looks matt.
Maybe the way the images appear in your computer screen.

That is a very nice tank. I just built a Tamiya Mark III L, did it in Tunisia 10 Panzer Divison.
I can't recommend that kit too highly, one of the nicest and easiest I've had. I got a photo etch but other than the exhaust grilles it was a waste. Nice job. :-)

Lovely finish on the panzer III. I love the camo and subtle weathering. Nice base also.

Very good work. Worthy of My name sake HAH! One question... with the turret side hatch opened, how is the detail on the interior? Any supplied with the kit?

Ok Panzer_fan. Thanks for your nice words.
The build of this kit doesnīt have any secret or special technique. Itīs a OOB (out of the box) build and I didīnt use any aftermarket set at all.
The only thing Iīve done was to make a careful build trying not to leave a hint of a mold seam or pin mark and trying that the parts are in perfect alingment. I also take care of the quantity of glue and the type of it, I use Revell Contacta Professional, I found that it works very well with the Tamiya plastic and itīs very easy to apply with the thin needle that it has.
Except the paint job the rest was done by the kit itself, itīs very nice molded and has a good fit and fine detail.
For the paint job in general guideline Iīve done the following: (as isaid in other post I used Model Master Enamels and a Paschee single action airbrush)
- Light base coat of Medium Grey
- Two good coats of Dunkelgelb
- Handfree overspray of Panzer Schwarzgraü 1939-43 to make the camo (no mask used)
- Light overspray in some places with dark earth to acentuate shadows (around the cupola, hatches, etc...)
- Precise oilwash around bolts, hinges and some depths (I didnīt make a general wash of the vehicle).
- Drybrushing with cleared Panzer Grey (with White).
- In the lower hull I apply Tamiya Putty diluted with cetone to obtain the mudly texture and when dry I painted it with a mixture of Dark Earth and Schocoladenbraü using a brush. I made the same to simulate the mud in the front and back of the vehicle but using the airbrush.
- Coat of Clear Varnish.
-Decal apply.
-Mate Coat.
There are a lot of techniques you can use to paint and weather a kit. In this case I donīt use any special one I just followed what feel I have to do.
Hope this help.

I used the parts of the kit (only the gun and a seat).

csch,
Thank you for sharing the building process with us. This really helps me and others like me, especially in case when one already has the kit but didn't build it yet.
Once again, very well done.
Best regards,
Sebastian
