Question on these two kits,i know from this site the afv model seems to be the choice of many. But just how different are they. How close are they in scale to one another? Is it a big difference? The reason behind all of these questions is this. Voyager is coming out with alot of detail sets for the Stryker. From a whole detail set to RWS,suspension, tires in resin, and a couple of other things.I would like to build the AFV version,But if there is a very big scale difference between the two,i'll go for the trump kit because thats what all these sets are for.So if anyone has built the two kits i would love to hear from you.Just to get your opinion .

The Voyager set looks nice and will for sure improve the Trumpeter kit.
Check this excellent PMMS review and comparison of the AFV Club and Trumpeter kits.....there are differences in the dimensions.

I have built both. You can really see a huge differance in the two models. all of which are covered in the perth model article jason included. I really liked the hull / gun details to include the pioneer tool rack on the AFV and loved the decal sheet from AFV but wish they would have done the jerry can racks and wire cutter in PE like Trumpeter. As far as the size difference the trumpeter really is wider and more squat than AFV. I am nbot sure which verison is more accurate in the way though.
Side note I also got the Blast model accessories and they are great. I'll have to post a pic
