Daft me purchased this off eBay quite a while ago. Got it for a steal though have no idea who makes it or which T-72 variant it is. Looking through Zaloga's book (T-72 MBT, '74-'93), it looks similar to the T-72 on page 13; T-72A with anti-radiation covering.
Any ideas? Also as interested in what it is as who made it. Any clues?

Definitely T-72A. Looks similar to ModelPoint's T-72AV turret, but with less crisp detail.

It's made by Anabus. It's a T72A turret. Get a little paint on it and you'll see that it has very good detail.
So that begs the next question, should it have come with the smoke dischargers and various other details as in Gary's pictures? Yes, it has very nice details. Is Anabus still around?

Its Anubus. It doesn't come with the Tucha smoke candles. Lion Roar makes a nice (Cheap) set as well as Modelpoint. Their T34-85 turrets are pretty nice as well.

Yep, Anubis. I have one of these turrets too. I am not sure how they were originally sold, 'cause I got mine through a friend who knew somebody...etc... Also, mine smells like a urinal cake! (Refreshes the model room when I pull it out...)
All it comes with is the turret and anti-rad liner. You provide the rest from the kit you are converting...it was made for the Tamiya kit so those pieces should work. Also, in reference to your other thread, Trumpeter pieces will work with this turret quite well...
It is a very nice and accurate turret, on par with miniarm in detail. They are not currently being produced and have not been for several years.
