Hy guys!

Finally there! I worked hard on it the last weeks. This was not because of the difficulty to build, but because of lack of good reference.

I mainly used plastic sheet (well, easy to spot ) and some major parts of Eduards T-80 UD etched set, made for Dragons kit.

After comparing Dragons UD deck to original photos and drawings,I decided to scratch my own, adding the significiant "thermal insulation".

For reference I used some pics from www.morozov.com.ua and Concords T-80 book.

Hope you guys like it.

Well, now comes the "fun" part. Adding it onto SKIF´s hull.

I will start this topic in about 3-4 weeks again as a "build log" to motivate me going on with it "Sadly" I now have to focus on two other projects for a friend....

Best regards,

"Andrej"

Wow Andreas,

that is some outstanding work! I'm really curious to your next update. Maybe you have some photos with a closer view?

Excellent work. I wish all the best to fit it to the Skif hull
But knowing how skilled you are, I guess it'll be just a question of time for the glue to set !
The addition of the Eduard PE bits is well done.

Thanks Jurjen and Olivier!

Well, nfortunately I only can go on with the "Oplot" in about a month. I now have to finish two german models (Dicker Max and Sdkfz251) for a riend. Yes, I know, the "Dark Side"

But I hope, when I start this topic again as a "build log", that I will make more progress in shorter time.......

Thanks again,

Best regards,

Andrej
