Hey, Martin!
I've always liked Tamiya's M-8 and you've done a great job on your kit. Will you be using it in a vignette/diorama? Will you be adding some stowage? I like the way you painted your tools. Keep up the great work. Dave

When I was a kid, and just started to build models, I started with Matchbox and Heller, as those were sold in my local shop. But just before my tenth birthday, our neighbours asked what I wanted for my birthday present. I said " a tank model". When I ripped the paper of the package, the first thing I noticed was the Red and Blue Tamiya star logo.... I nearly peed myself.. A real Tamiya kit, MY first Tamiya kit..... (remember, I was only ten )
That was the M8 HMC, and although it did not survive my childhood, the memory is an abiding and happy one.
You were not tempted by the crewmember though?
Thanks for the memory, and a good job on the kit.
Henk

Good job Martin. Its hard to make a silk purse out of a sow´s ear, but this is still the only game in town. Some of the details look very chunky compared till todays models, but the build, paintwork and weathering look pretty good. Cant fault them...

Thanks for you kind replies
I think I'll add some stowage and maybe I'll add a figure. But I'm not gonna build a diorama. I like it this simple way
I've to say it is a very fun kit to build. No to hard and the details are fine (specially seeing the age of the kit). But I can recommend it to everybody
