Hi guys , finally after days i've completed my recent project , Tamiya Sdkfz 222 , an old kit as everyone knows but still nice...in my opinion..
The model has been painted with Tamiya acrilycs , weathered with oils and for the dryied mud and earth a mixture of oils - pigments - and plaster with a bit of oil paint thinner...a very nicely way of depicting dryied mud and earth chalks...for me a kind of experiment..!
Scratches have been done using oils and a 0000 tipped brush...( very small....) .
So, after a long stop , im here again asking for your comments and questions..! Hope you'll like it...! Here are the pics...

Very nice Alessandro. Nice weathering, well chipped, but somehow not overdone, good job.

Cheers

Vey nice Alessandro, good job. I built this kit too and really liked it. Yours looks much better and I like the restrained weathering and chipping, looks very realistic. I especailly like your rusty mufflers and pipes, looks good. Did you use a PE set?

Only one thing that I noticed, is the seam on top of the 2cm cannon.
Did you scratch the tarp on the back?

Hi guys,
thanks a lot for your comments, yes i forgot to specify that i've used a Eduard's PE set ( actually my firts attempt with a PE set ...) , and yes Henk , i've scratchbuilded the big green tarp on the back using a very thin layer of Milliput ( also this one was a kind of experiment ... and im quite happy with the result..) . Sry Henk , im not understanding your question about the seam on the 20mm cannon....
Anyway thanks again for your time , regards,
Alex

Very nice Alessandro. I like that you turned the front wheels and added some stowage. Gives this model a bit of life. Nice weathering also. Good job on an old kit!
