Hey Dan!! Great Work!! I like it! I too am working on a 1/48 scale Diorama. By the way, how many paintbrushes did you use and how much did that cost you? Good luck with your contest. Let us know if you win anything.

Hi guys,
I'm glad you like it.
Dave: I used 7 brushes of 50 cents each so that's still pretty good wouldn't you say because the diorama is still fairly large. It was alot of work but gave me great satisfaction. I'll be sure to tell you guys if I win something.
Simon: Yeah I know I completely forgot. I was going to do that but I just forgot. Thanks for reminding me.

Hi
Instead of paint brushes you could try what I use for long grass.
I use Sisal string it can be cut to any length you want & it also excepts all types of paint. It's also very cheap.
Used it many times.
Building for My pleasure & hoping others like what I build.
Being built at the moment
Way too many unfinished.

Hi Alex,
I made the bushes out of Seafoam. You can buy this in any hobby shop. I recently saw it a Art Shop too. Hope this helps.

"Seafoam" ... I searched in all dictionaries available and found nothing. What does it mean ?

Can you post a picture, or something like that ?

Here's picture from a Belgium online company which sells this stuff too.
Other modelers will know what I mean with seafoam.

Seafoam is sometimes called Lichen. I've even seen it packaged in a hobby store as Spanish Moss (nothing like the actual Spanish Moss hanging from trees)
