I bought an Tamiya hanomag and painted it Panzer Gray. It looks a little dark. It is fairly dark. Is it allright to use Panzer Gray on a hanomag? Oh ya it is Testors spray paint(no airbrush). I plan on doing my first wash. That would lighten the color right? Pretty dumb question, huh?

Sure u can paint it in Panzer gray and don't worry how dark it is.
Especially if its produced before first quart of 1943. Check the production date.
U can go to check the pic here, to see how dark were the German vehicles.

howitzer, my hanomag was also painted panzer gray. It was quite dark, but i think its the right colour. As the decal i chose was that of Eastern Front division fighting in Russia, i washed it with very thin white enamel and white + a little light tan pastel chalk. The result is very good for my liking
Good luck..
