If I recall, the directions that came with the original M1A1 AIM kit had some errors on the locations of the photoetch engine screens and photoetch parts that went on the side skirts. Does anyone know if the directions for these parts have been updated on the new M1A2 kit?
Also, just as a mininor gripe, how come all the decal options are for older variants that did not have the Hawker battery or the extended storage rack? All the decal options are for vehicles in the 2003-2004 time period. It would have been nice to have an option for a newer vintage vehicle that has the latest configuration. Dragon did this on the intitial AIM kit as well. All were older vehicles, most were from the same unit.
Dragon went to the trouble of giving us parts for the latest configuration M1A2SEP but then neglected to provide even a single decal option for this variant. Your choice if you want to use the newest componets on your model is to use the kit decals for a historically incorrect tank or spend the money for Echelon or someone else's decal set for the M1A2 and hope they have a later vehicle represented.
