WOW! I knew this kit was coming but didn't know it would be so packed with features and detail! That thing is beautiful. AND we have photos of the prototype - at least this one made it off the paper!
This one is going on my Christmas list now.
Any idea on the MSRP?

Oh, man. I know it's a lot of kit, but that's a lot of money! That's close to resin prices! I'm still getting one though.
Does it include indy tracks? Aluminum barrel? PE?
It would be cool to see Trumpeter "out feature" DML!

Unfinished shots show it with a plastic barrel and there's evidence of a little bit of PE in the engine compartment, so looks like it has some extras. Didn't see anything on the tracks though, wonder if they are going the "link-and-length" and vinyl alternative route as with the KVs? Definitely has some massive appeal to it, wonder how many track sets you'd need to complete it given the "stretch" on the chassis?

What's the reason for the high price? It's as 2X-3X as much than similar other kits go.
Does it actually fire its gun?

And to know another variant was planned with an even bigger gun.
However, the Grille 17 could only carry 5 rounds, the one with the heavier gun a mere 3.
So, impressive as it looks, it was let down by a very limited ammo supply on board. It would require a dedicated ammo-carrier.
Oh, and it is only thinly "armoured", no armour like on the actual Tiger-B.
And for those wondering, the roadwheel located at the rear indeed didn't sit on the ground.

What a great model. It looks very promising. However, I think the price sounds extremely high even though it is a big model.
I will need one of these, but will probably reconsider when I have to hand over the 120 USD

Nothing.
The gun was moved out of the vehicle before firing. In essence, this Grille is "just" a carrier"

I need one for the Build It Now pile and one for the Will It Fit In My Stash pile. It is a Golden Age for Modelers.

Well, its better than a rail gun because it will fit on an actual shelf, and its way way cool to boot. But am I going to buy two sets of Fruilmodel KT tracks and do the whole nine yards?

I want one of course, but $119?!?!?!
There does not look to be too much PE in there.. is it the same size as the Hind? 1/32 A-10?
Is it just me or is that a LOT of cash?

I have 1 in resin, and paid a lot more then 120, bummer.
It's a mean looking model.
Cheers

And for that price, as far as I've read in reviews, you get nicely warped and uneven compartment sides.
I have not read any positive reviews concerning the buildability of the NC kit.

Ahem! Eh, how should I put this but as a matter of fact the New Connection kit of this beast is listed by N.C. at the princely sum
of 249 Euros which comes out at something like $340 (plus
shipping from Germany of course).
$119 is practically "for free" in comparison even if it is a sh-tload
of money ;-)
