I posted this in the armor section becuase I figured it would be more appropriate here for all the guys building strykers, feel free to move it to the figures section if it really shouldnt be here!
I just saw on PMMS Hobby fan(sister company of afv club) to to release a set of ACU equipped Stryker brigade figures, it says set 1 so it looks like theres more on the way. These guys look great with suitably dynamic poses, cant wait to get my hands on these. With all the sets for the Stryker coming out at the moment us modern armor fans have never had it so good.
The pic comes from PMMS, if this is a copyright problem I apologise, just delete it.

Those figures look pretty good. Now, all we need is to figure out how to do slat armor (or get on the AM guys), and we'll have a really good OIF dio.

They do look good. They could be used as any modern Soldiers in Iraq though. The Stryker BDEs use no special equipment (other than the Stryker itself) or uniforms as compared to other units in country. They are simply Soldiers in ACUs with the latest body armor and gear.

Yup, ideal for any infantry. They will look good alongside a Stryker though with some guys in the airguard hatches providing cover fire during a hosue clearence or something.I cant wait to see what else Hobby fan have planned, their over OIF sets are really nice.

IMO, Hobby Fan produces the best 1/35 resin figures around for these reasons:
* Casting, detail, and pose
* Always something new (HF is still the only ones that make MOLLE gear and the Army M240B. HF was one of the first to make a resin M4 with RIS).
* Small pour blocks and each kit can "stand on its own" and yet when combined, each kit supports each others.
I can't wait to see these figures firsthand!

Couldnt agree more Peter! Finally someone else who loves Hobby fan as much as me
Hobby fan dont get the publicity they deserve, everyone moans about the prices etc but you pay for what you get! The earluer HF OIF figures come with spare gear, lovely bases etc. The poses are really interesting and these guys like awsome. I love Hobby fan figures, ive got piles of them, cost me a small fortune(a couple of hundread pounds) but well worth it. I'll try get a set of these asap from a guy I know in Taiwan who has something to do with Hobby fan and do a review for the site.

Ouch, another "must have" set. And I agree Rob, Hobbyfan have some excellent kits.

i have just ordered a set from Hobby easy, will post some in the box pictures and a full review once they arrive.
Hobby easy have them for £8.02 plus shipping (approx £3.00), dont forget to mention Armourama.com if you order from them.
The hobbyfan / AFV club web site also show a picture of there stryker with crew figures, times are great for the modern builder

I've both the Hobby Fan modern Marines in digital camo (MGers and ones with backpacks) and the HF modern accessory set. I just never got around to reviewing them.
Instead of writing a review on them, I plan to write a review on some sci-fi figures instead as a change.

Keith-I just ordered a set aswell. As you are going to do a review I might do a full build and paint and show my method of painting ACU pattern camo. Ive already painted the legs of one of Blasts figures in ACU's and it looks ok!
The figures pictured with the Stryker on the Hobby fan website are those thar are already available:-Truck crew OIF and Tank crew OIF, and their modern stowage set. Excellent sets.

Nice, more modern figures! I definitely have to order a set of these for that AFV Club Stryker I have sitting at home. They even have those annoyong DAPS. Interesting note, no Camelbak....
