My Tamiya T- 55 arived from HLJ, today! And the CMD barrel! What a happy modelling weekend!
As I had a look on the kit, I recognized, it´s a Russian built T- 55 in this kit. So, for anyone, who wants to build a Czechoslovakian, Polish or East German NVA T- 55, needs to change the rear engine deck layout, because the Polish and Czechoslovakian built ones have a different layout. Especially the grill over the engine fan in the rear right corner has a different shape.
This is also good for Iraqi vehicles, so check your reference, when you want to built an Iraqi vehicle, because they got their T- 55 tanks from Russia AND Czechoslovakia. Maybe also from Poland, but I´m not sure about that.
I will build mine as a Russian built T- 55 with Russian or Finnish markings, but I don´t know yet.

Violetrock
