hello chaps,

As i write this im building on Trumpeters STRV 103-S tank

'cause i bought the neccesary aftermarket stuff for this little piece of armour wich is no problem to build and attach.
But i have a question about something anyway.

In some walkthrougs you can see the STRV mounted with some sort of rack on top of the front of the tank.

I asked this question on another site but their answer was not very convincing.
I'ff got three choises to pick from but wich one is it ?

Was it extra armour ?

Was it a grenade catcher ?

Or was it simply a rack to put branches trough for extra camouflage ?

I ask tthis 'cause i'm writing an article also about this " little Tank " and i want to give the right answer .

I hope you can help me out .

Looking over on Prime Portal at the walkthroughs

It would appear to be an anti RPG effort (like slat armour on the Stryker)
It's much too bulky just for extra camo or stowage
