Any information on the colour of uniform of German Marines, I know that its Navy Blue, but is there any special collar patch that they wore. Also is there any info on there deployment, other than action during the invasion of Norway.

When used for ground operations, German naval infantry wore field gray uniforms with naval insignia (notably, gold rather than silver gray thread for the breast eagle).

As said above, insignia was gold (yellow) as apposed to silver (grey). The uniforms were the same field grey color as the army. However, buttons were gold or field grey with an anchor. Field equipment was the same (usually black) except for the belt buckle which was gold. Another notable difference was with the shoulder boards which were quite different, pointed at the end, not rounded for enlisted and NCO's.
