Click on the tab for 'Historicus Forma' then look in the 'Features' section. There's bound to be more than one 'how to' on there.

I'm kind of supprised that no one has mentioned this yet, but Sheperd Paine's book "How to Build Dioramas" has an excellent chapter on painting figures. It's Chapter 5: Posing & Painting Figures. If you can find this book, get it! He also has another book, "Building and Painting Scale Figures", but I think that one is out of print. If you find it, it will probably be very expensive.
