Gday Marcin
A really splendid vignette you have created. So well balanced. Coupled with the subject matter and elements involved, it can depict the fury of battle but maybe also of momentary silence, and can be taken as either by the viewer. Well done!
Cheers

WOW!!
That is an awesome diorama! Everything about it is great... The groundwork, the wreck, the placement of the shooter. It shows that you really focused on the details. I especially appreciate the half-buried helmet.
By the way, what scale is this?
Keep up the good work.

This basically says it all. Coupled with all the tings that are done so well ... the original idea ... a Russian sniper taking cover behind the damaged aircraft and the "text book" defination of how a "balanced" vignette should be, make this a top model in my books! Nice one Marcin.

Correct me if I`m wrong, but is the rudder not supposed to be fabric covered?

The tail section gives better cover for the sniper than I initially thought it would. Very impressive. It has a great feel to it. Like something is about to happen any second.

Nice job. The helmet with the hole in the head is so simple and compliments the scene. Great ground work too!

That really is rather impressive. The detail on the exits holes [one the plane] looks like it was quite painstaking. Well worth the effort though I'm sure.

I think you did a great job on this vingeitte. It really gives the viewer the idea of a hard fought battle, like Stalingrad.
As a competitive prone rifle shooter I have to say that the sniper is in a pretty relaxed pose (as he should be before the shot). You almost want you body to be like a puddle on the groundwith no muscles holding up the rifle. As I looked throught your photos, I couldn't tell if the rilfle is being rested on the aircraft. That would make sense. Are both of his eyes open as well?

I have stated numerous times on this site that the little and unexpected details are what really makes a model or diorama stand out. THis one is packed with details that tell a story. The tail section, the assault rifle nearby, the helmet with a bullet hole, the shell casings.... Great job.

This is the type of model that wins contests with special awards added. Incredible attention to details and composition. I followed the build thread. The aluminum plane and everything else. Great!
