Ok here's the plan.
At [ or near ] the end of WWII somewhere in western Germany - Allied, German, and German civilians are hauling gold bars out of a truck in the river.
This is the Italeri Mercedes, Calibre35 conv. and Edouard p.e.
I was going to build the Calibre35 box version but got a little carried away with field mods. It looks a little more military than civilian, but I like the red.
I'll be adding a decked out Sherman guarding the gold retrieval, but I could use suggestions on other German/Allied vehicles to be included in the build.
Dragons new halftrack ?, some German 250's, 251's ?,
I've got to have at least one German tank to help the Sherman guard the operation, but what - which German armor ?
Thanks for lookin - Cheyenne

Hi Cheyenne
Is this part of your harbour dio or will it be a seperate entity?
Keep looking and looking ... the bridge, the truck, the details .. its all amazing stuff. Can only imaging what this will look like painted up and weathered. Did I say amazing? The dropped out headlight steals the show .. very cool.

The truck has some amazing detail on it - tools, logos, locks. Great kit, you've built it superbly.

Hi Frank, thanks, do you mean the lift bridge dockside dio or the tramp steamer in North Africa one ? Scott [ thanks ] I think you asked about this also ?
Both dios are still around - just feeling a little neglected and lonley l.o.l. Once the tourists leave the Jersey Shore and Fall and football season starts, I'm back on them.
Claude, thanks alot man !!!!
Pablo, yes that's cork, Im a big Blockhaus fan from long ago. I started building things early in 2005 after seeing his wonderful works !!!

I had not see the ship that complete. The last update I remember was you working on the shape of the stern.
With all that heavy man made 'stuff' in this diorama the horses really stand out to me. They bring a bit of nature and softness (in a good way) to the scene. I like them a lot as an element .

Now I really can't wait you to work that steamer more, it really seems like the whole will be extraordinary

Hi Cheyenne. I didn´t realise there were two seperate dio-plans ..... I had remembered just one ... mother of them all ... harbour dio. I was wondering if this was a stand alone scene or belonging to your big scene. Now Im confused myself
