I am finally done with this dio! I am happy (for the most part) with the kits I used. The only pain was the GI helmets. They do not fit and look awful! I will hopefully replace them in the coming days... I will post the finalized photos tomorrow morning as I am having trouble uploading the photos...
-Thanks, Mike

Finally... 2 hours and much frustration later... here it is-
I might take some outdoor pics in a few days (after i switch those horrid helmets and add some slings that I just remembered!!!!!). I am moving into my new place this thursday so it is going to be a little hectic and I will appologize up front if I am not able to get the photos up!
-Thanks for looking, Mike

Hey Mike, nice work! I really love the mud. How did you make it look so wet? I tried a mud seen and it kind of looks like "not so wet dirt"
I like the concept of which you have. You might want to go a little lighter on the blood on the face. But it looks great. Take care.

The mud and water is quite simply outstanding
The figures, you might want to give their uniforms a matt finish, they are a bit glossy, and I see what you mean about the helmets with the guy on the left.

Sorry I am getting back to this so late! I moved into my dorm a few days ago and have been blasted with classes. Thanks for the comments!
-Sean, I used a mix of Future floor finish, dirt, brown acrylic paint, and white glue. I let that set ontop of the plaster for a day. Then I coated (slathered more or less) the whole base with Future. You can get all of it (except the dirt i hope) at Giant or any other supermarket. The muddy water is a mix of Woodland Scenics resin gel stuff and brown acrylic paint.
I finally switched the helmets and will soon be adding slings.
Thanks again for the comments!
