I've searched and searched the news pages but I can't find an announcement showing two german WW2 tanker figures I'm interested in. Resin models 1/35 scale.
They were what I would descibe as being "Alpine Miniature like" in their natural stance etc. In fact very similar to Aplines in modelling as well.
One was of a tanker, possibly in the U boat style leather suit he was stood leaning back with one hand in the air as if gestering to the other figure.
The other figure was shown in the hatch of a tank looking down
Obviously designed to work together if required.
I should have noted the manufacturer. Learnt my lesson. The modelling reference notepad will be created and sit next to the PC from now on !!
Any help in finding these much appreciated. If my memory serves me correct it wasn't one of the big player. I'm sure these were a recent release, in the last three months.
Cheers
Alan

To add to my description, the standing one was wearing an officers cap, "crusher" style I think they call it, with one hand on hip, and the other as I said in the air hand open.
The figure in the hatch was relaxed over as if leaning on the hatchway.
I'm sure these were recent releases and featured as news items.

Hi
the figures you are looking for are from PEGASO MINITURES. I have the chap in the turret and he is excellant. Looks really cool in the turret of my tiger 1. They are available from Historex Agents www.historexagents.com. Cat no.'s PTO33 Officer with raised hand and PTO34 Chap in the turret. £11.55 each, not including postage.
Hope this helps.

Spot on Paul
Pegaso they are indeed available from Historex, on the last page, as it's a recent release.
They do look good. What's the mouldings like "in the flesh" Any problems with badly placed or too big casting blocks ?
I can now get back to work, this was driving me barking !!
Was it a news item here or did I just imagine it. Or maybe it was on another site.
Thanks anyway

Glad it helped!!! The chap I have is the one for the turret. I have added some Royal Model headphones and throat mic, PE deaths head and eagle and got to be honest, he was made for riding in the turret of a Tiger 1.
The pose is so natural. No probs with the moulding, just a bit of flash to clean off the legs and a couple of tiny air bubbles, that was it. Got him undercoated at the mo while still building the tiger, but if your planning a tiger or panzer 4 in SS service for Normandy and beyond, this is defo best commader figure I have seen.
Thanks.
