I've just picked up some cast dio bases complete with building ruins from a guy on German eBay.
They're very nicely done and the price was reasonable, the only problem is that it turns out they're cast from modelling plaster and I was expecting a somewhat harder ceramic material.
This means that they're also more porous, absorbent (and fragile!) than I'd been expecting, so I was wondering could anyone recommend the best type of glue to use to assemble them so that they'll stay stuck?
Cheers in advance.

Hi Steve,
Normal white wood glue from UHU or Pattex will do the job.
My whole castle is fixed with wood glue.
Cheers
Claude

Give the areas to be joined a priming coat of PVA glue and when thoroughly dry you can use superglue.
I sometimes use a hot glue gun to join plaster pieces but you have to wipe off any excess glue that is squeezed out between pieces before it hardens.
