Well, if I am not mistaken the Sherman Firefly was fitted with T54E1 Steel Chevron tracks. I'd recommend getting a set of ModelKasten workable tracks. I have a set for the KV-I/II and they look crisp, eay to clean up and easy to assemble. Do a search on www.greatmodels.com, they should have it.

Cheers,

Seven bucks, Blaster? That's a deal, from what I've seen.

RHPS tracks are very nice and easy to assemble -- plus lots of extra parts to make up for the parts you break. Usual retail is about $15 +-a few dollars.

I also prefer the RHPS tracks No ejector pin marks and they snap together real easy AFV Club tracks are a few bucks cheaper, but they have raised ejector pins on the inside of the links Also the fit of the end connectors is tight I've broken off the pins a few times on the AFV Club links

What about Fruil tracks for a sherman? Any good, or not worth the expense?

My vote is also for the RHPS tracks. For their overall quality, ease of assembly and price, you can't beat them. I have a set of Modelkasten workable Sherman tracks and they have just about made me insane. I mean, they are beautiful when assembled but there are about 1,000,000 parts to make a full set.
