What type of brushes do you use to drybrush? I tried drybrushing for the first time today, using my 3/0 red sable brush, but the results were poor. Just wondered what type of brush most people use.
Thanks.

I use a selection of flat brushes.....round don't work so well I find....I have narrow ones up to quite wide all for different purposes.

The same as Grant, but some times I use to "round the side edges of the flat brushes to have better control of the results.

Has anyone tried the special "drybrushing" brushes from Micro-Mark? Was just wondering if they were any better for drybrushing than normal flat brushes....or if they were worht the money!!

That's kind of what I was wondering also. Are those the best brushes to use, or are there some others that will work just as well?

I use a trio of flat #6, 4, and 2 brushes...not expensive ones, maybe $2 each. The bristles are brown, i'm not sure if they're sable or not, but they work great.
