Hello All,
Here are some pictures of recently completed kits. They are all 1/35th scale Tamiya.
The first Lee is marked with the early war national insignia. The second was copied (loosely) from a photo in the Hunnicutt Sherman book. It showed a Lee in Soviet service with the U.S. registration number and captured by the Germans. I could only see one German national mark and used a bit of modeller's license to add the others.
The Sherman was also copied from a photo from the Hunnicutt book. This showed how some Shermans had been reworked in the ordinance depots in Japan after the war. Yes, that is a 76MM gun in the original M4A3 turret. The book said this was tried during WW II but not adopted. No explanation was given as to why this was done post war.
Any way, hope you enjoy the pictures and as always feel free to

Was pretty well pleased with my over all effort until I added the pastels for dust and just not sure what happened. Will probably leave them as they are, not sure at this point.
Thanks for taking time to take a look/comment.

very interesting builds. i really enjoyed the M4A3 with the 76mm. I think you did a very great job in building and weathering all three vehicles and some detailed research. great job.

Hi Robert,
Thank you. I try and do the uncommon from among the common subjects.
