Just a reminder that you can vote once, in each category, for a total of 2 votes for the month. Winners are selected from both categories, so please be sure to vote for both when you step into the booth and pull the curtain.

Duty done!
The Advanced category seems to have outperformed itself this month, I just couldn't pick one for some time!

Voted. Again some great models ... in both categories.
I wonder sometimes if the guys posting in the beginner/intermediate level are underselling themselves. Theres some smashing models there as well ... some of them maybe not good enough to win overall, but surely fit the "advanced level" more than the intermediate. Just my two rubels worth!!

Franck,
Perhaps it is simply a gamble for the winning prize. Enter a good model into Beginner class and your chance to win the third prize is big, while entering this same model in advance class you may get nothing at all
Cheers

Don't think so. Speaking as the winner of last months beginner/intermediate level, the process goes like this:
- The modeller looks at previous contests Advanced entries
- Modeller goes, "Oh my, no way, they will skin me alive in there"
- Modeller submits to "Beginner/Intermediate", where waters are less deep
If you think about it, a figure set from Dragon is not as fancy as the other prizes, so no one would go underrating themselves... That is of course in my humble opinion.
There shall be a day when my skills will be hardened and my wallet full enough to get all the fancies (PE, resin, etc) on a model AND make it look good... Then I shall think about joining at "Advanced" level.

Yeah that's what I was thinking!
I always enter my models into the advanced category, because even though my skills are not up to it, I've been some time in this hobby and I'm no longer a beginner. It wouldn't be fair for true beginner if I did.
Another interesting statistical data is that is that not all models have the same number of views, which tells me that a lot of people don't look at all the models well before voting. It would be interesting to see what the chances are of winning depending on the subject.
