I think it looks great. The grass is wonderful. Are those TANK figures or something you made? Any problems with the kit?

I really like the way this Diorama turned out. Great work on everything and I love how you just show the front of the house, very realistic work well done mate.

Lookin' good. The roof is well done, not a typical thatch roof, authentic, but you don't see it very often.

Don -
Nice looking scene, simple and relays the moment realistically. Good weathering of the vehicle, not overdone at all.
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one!
Cheers!

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen
Scott: the figures are from Miniart and ICM with new resin heads. The Eastern Express kit needed some putty here and there to correct some minor fit issues.
Arkuo 14: the tracks are the kit supplied ones, length and link type.
Scott: Yeah, I think the extra work on the roof was worth it. The original plaster casting just wasn't right.

Very nice excecution, nice and simple. Though I'm sure it wasn't a simple job.
Just tells the story. Perfect.

A simple but effective vignette. Personally I believe a simple vignette can be just as good if not better than an elaborate, huge dio and your vignette with its simple storyline with well positioned pieces is a very good example of it..

All I can say is that I LOVE IT! I've never built an Eastern Express kit before, how was it going together? I have a BT-5 Italeri kit on it's way but really wanted the BT-7 though as yours turned out really nice!
Was the building scratch built?

Thanks Jeff. Eastern Express kits build up fairly nice, but they need alot of TLC. That is lots of putty, patience and mr surfacer 1000.
The building is from an old Velinden Rusian barn plaster kit. I added the shutters and the thatched roof.

HA! I just opened my BT-5 kit from Italeri today and a sticker inside said it was made in Russia by Zvezda!
Thanks for the info on the building Don, it really looks great!
