What is the difference in the size of these shells? Are the ammo crates and shell tubes the same size or are they very different in their size.

They are quite a bit different in size. If you are talking about howitzer rounds, the 75mm is more than half the length of a 105mm shell. A 75mm tank round is about as long as a 105mm howitzer round, but much smaller in diameter.
